Bezzera BZ10 Rosewood Accents
Bezzera BZ10 Overview
The Bezzera BZ10 is a thoughtfully designed heat exchanger that makes a big splash in the espresso market, in spite of its small footprint. It has all the features you’d expect of a prosumer, but often with a design twist, made possible by Bezzera’s commitment to keeping production in house.
Features and Performance
The machine is named for its specially designed electronic grouphead, the machine’s crowning feature. Rather than go with the standard E61 group which syphons water from the boiler to maintain its heat, the BZ10 group is heated electronically and monitored by its own thermostat for serious temperature stability.
Plus, the BZ10 grouphead is up to temp in ten minutes, where an E61 can take twenty minutes or more. Anything that delivers caffeine faster is excellent in our book. Steaming can be done at the same time as brewing, due to the heat exchange design, and both steam and brew pressures can be monitored on the BZ10’s dual needle gauge.
Using the BZ10 is simple, with its intuitive push button and toggle operation; each function designated by a stylized icon. The integrated cup warmer keeps cups at the ready, and we’ve found that the electronically heated brew group really gets the job done. The steam wand toggles on for powerful steaming, and we were impressed by just how much steaming you can get done before the BZ10 needs a breather; though, if you’re expecting to entertain often, you might want to consider a dual boiler machine. You don’t need to worry too much about overworking it either, Bezerra integrated several layers of safety sensors to keep the BZ10 performing reliably for years.

Stepped up from the Gaggia Classic (which I loved) after 25 years! Two months of hard daily use and the Bezzera BZ10 is a big winner. Pulls a perfect shot and steams milk at the same time – I did not realize how much I would appreciate this. The machine is easy to clean and along with a good grinder, has all you need for a luxurious home espresso Read more about review stating Perfectly Luxurious Home Machineexperience. The machine is a work of art in terms of mechanics and manufacture. I have absolutely no regrets!

I’ve only had the machine for about two weeks now, and it is a HUGE step up from my Gaggia classic I’ve been using for the last six years. Finally felt it was time to upgrade, and couldn’t be more happy with this purchase. It heats up in about 10 minutes, and it’s incredibly convenient to not have to wait in between pulling a shot and steaming milRead more about review stating I’ve only had the machinek, since my partner likes oat milk and I use cows milk, so I can have two caps out in about 5 minutes. Also got a eureka Mignon specialita grinder in conjunction, and that has made an arguably bigger difference in the quality of espresso. But with both items in tandem, I’m ready to open a home cafe and feel set for hopefully the next 20 years. It also looks so good that the rest of our kitchen looks worse, and we want to do a remodel just to do the machine justice. In a perfect world… Thanks HFC!

I’ve had my Bezzera BZ10 for almost 3 years now. Purchased new from HARFAN COFFEE , it came well packaged. They immediately called me to confirm my order after placing it online. I absolutely love the machine and look forward to making my cappuccino every morning. Expect a learning curve at the start – my biggest recommendation is to learn to prRead more about review stating Excellent & Beautiful Machineoperly texture the milk and to use a scale to get the brew ratio right.
My grinder is a Baratza Vario. While it’s a perfectly good grinder with great features for the price, I regret not getting a grinder that’s a couple of leagues up.

Purchased the Bezzera BZ10 as an upgrade from my Rancilio Silva. Love the heat exchanger allowing simultaneous brewing and steaming. Using the same grinder and beans produced a much higher quality of coffee. Can’t argue with the looks either. Highly recommend.
