Ceado E37R Overview
The second smallest offering in Ceado’s E37 series, the E37R rounds out the line with its compact stature, without losing the great features expected of the E37 grinders. This doserless grinder is stepless, for infinite grind adjustment when you push or pull the lever on the collar. Inside, a super quiet 400 watt motor is mechanically suspended on rubber mounts.
Features and Performance
The Ceado E37R dispenses grinds at a rate of 3 grams per second thanks to its powerful motor and 64mm burrs. Grounds are kept clump free by a little flap integrated into the coffee chute, for wonderfully even particle distribution in the portafilter. For hands free grinding, the E37R will hold on to your portafilter while grinding so you don’t have to. With the touchscreen display, you can select between single, double, and manual doses with just a touch.
One feature we think is leaps and bounds above the competition is Ceado’s Steady Lock Burr Technology. This design keeps the burrs at a constant distance apart from one another, whether they’re grinding for one shot or one hundred. With easy access to the burrs and the anti-clogging system, maintenance is quick and easy. Thanks to the design of the grinding chamber, there’s no need to recalibrate when cleaning.

Baratza stopped working. Needed a grinder. Ceado seemed to be the best option and HarfanCoffee videos made them out to be one of the best.
Pros: High Quality, robust, heavy duty. Built like a tank. Portafilter holder is excellent.
Cons: Grind is not always consistent with same coffee, subsequent grinds. Higher retention than the BaratzaRead more about review stating CeadoE37R and the Baratza cost less. Occasional clumps in grind. Hard to dial in and wish it had the better grind adjustment of its costlier siblings.
Overall I really like the machine because it built well.

grinds coffee really well. I’ve been using a conical burr grinder for 2 years and this is the first time I’ve made coffee with flat burr grinder. The flavors notes are more pronounced, shot progression is much more steady, less breakdown of the puck toward the end of the shot so the it doesn’t speed up as much. Grinds wonderful. Nice and quiet. Fairly fast. Super nice build and heavy duty. I am taking 1 star off because I find the adjustment lever is fairly stiff and it is a bit clumsy to move if you have to hold the entire machine while your adjusting it. Not an issue though because its not like your changing it every day.
