Ceado E37R Overview
The second smallest offering in Ceado’s E37 series, the E37R rounds out the line with its compact stature, without losing the great features expected of the E37 grinders. This doserless grinder is stepless, for infinite grind adjustment when you push or pull the lever on the collar. Inside, a super quiet 400 watt motor is mechanically suspended on rubber mounts.
Features and Performance
The Ceado E37R dispenses grinds at a rate of 3 grams per second thanks to its powerful motor and 64mm burrs. Grounds are kept clump free by a little flap integrated into the coffee chute, for wonderfully even particle distribution in the portafilter. For hands free grinding, the E37R will hold on to your portafilter while grinding so you don’t have to. With the touchscreen display, you can select between single, double, and manual doses with just a touch.
One feature we think is leaps and bounds above the competition is Ceado’s Steady Lock Burr Technology. This design keeps the burrs at a constant distance apart from one another, whether they’re grinding for one shot or one hundred. With easy access to the burrs and the anti-clogging system, maintenance is quick and easy. Thanks to the design of the grinding chamber, there’s no need to recalibrate when cleaning.

This is a great grinder. I have been using it for 26 months now and grind 3-4 Kg of beans per month.
The build quality is quite high, it is quiet, and the electronics are logical.

I grind fine… using ~ #2 on the dial. It takes 3-4 cups to dial-in the grinder. If you change your bean type, you must dial-in again.
Today I cleaned the burrs for the 1st time as the grinder was clogging. It was rather easy and took ~ 60 minutes to do a very careful and thorough job. WLL has a video. You need a vacuum, a #2 Phillips screwdriver, a clean (tooth) brush; and do UNPLUG from power first. There is no need to mechanically re-calibrate the burrs after cleaning with Ceado, a HUGE bonus and time saver.
I would buy it again. Alternatively, If it’s just you, take a look at the Ceado single-doser machines.

Grinder is awesome and easy to use. I wish the button and portafilter holder were a little higher up so the “hands free” was actually usable. Right now it makes a mess. So I dose into a cup and then pour into the filter. Other than that, fast, quiet, and a pleasure to use.

This grinder works great, but detailed instructions, written or on youtube, on how to dial it in to my needs and wants have escaped me.
I know from the youtubes I have seen, that there are detailed options on how to set it up. but clear instructions on all the options I have not found online and are not included with the grinder.

This machine is amazing, 4 stars only because the instructions are terrible if non existent. Downloaded the hard to find manual ands still had problems. Get hold of someone at HarfanCoffee that knows the machine and have them walk you through seasoning, readjusting the grind lever and hints on getting the grind dialed in.
