The NSF approved Ceado E37S electric grinder combines groundbreaking technology with unparalleled build quality to deliver world-class performance. The E37S features a crystal clear touch display for easy use and programming while an improved coffee chute distributes grounds in the center of your portafilter. 83 mm flat burrs and an improved tight-fitting base tray round out the updates to this impeccable grinder. The touch screen variant of the E37S features three modes of operation, single, double, and “extra” shot programming as well as a manual grinding feature. The single and double, and extra-shot buttons, grind duration, language settings, grinder controls, and more are customizable to your preferences. With the Quick Set Gear, the E37S’ stepless grind can be adjusted by turning the worm gear’s handle, making it much easier to find the right grind size.
This capable grinder is equipped with a 500 watt motor. The motor has been mechanically suspended with rubber mounts to ensure quiet operation. In fact, it is over 30% quieter than comparable grinders in its class. All of Ceado’s grinder motors are rectified to guarantee perpendicular alignment of the motor shaft and burrs. A unique design mitigates thermo expansion during the grinding process. This keeps the burrs at the correct distance and value for the grind setting chosen by the user. The burrs can be removed quickly and easily, since they are held in place by three screws, located at the top of the grinder. Unlike traditional grinders, the E37S’ burrs have sealed threads to prevent them from being clogged by coffee grounds, ensuring a tight seal. Additionally, the burrs of the Ceado E37S can be removed for cleaning and maintenance without requiring recalibration once they are put back in place.

I had an E37J before this, but had it replaced under warranty and took the opportunity to upgrade to the E37S. Not only does the Quick Set mean you can more easily make finer adjustments, but you can keep on revolving the burr assembly all the way to drip coarse, which is a nice bonus. Can’t do that on the J without taking the top off and moving screws around every quarter turn.
Sure, this thing is not for single dosing. But if you like the simplicity of just getting a shot of perfectly ground coffee in 4 seconds, and don’t often change your coffee, this is best thing going

This is one of those purchases that no one really “needs”, but it’s the grinder everyone would have if money didn’t matter. This is real coffee shop quality and it can grind beans all day, every day. This isn’t for the barista that settles for good – this is for the person that takes coffee seriously, and doesn’t want to settle for just good – they want the best that is available. If you want a grinder that is going to last 20 years, you make a few drinks a day and you value quality craftsmanship and exacting standards, then this is the one for you. And you can say it really only costs about a nickel per drink for those 20 years! The ability to dial in the exact level of grind with the worm drive is really next level. It’s not a click on a scale, or a dial you move manually. The knob with a 1/4 turn moves the needle about 1/16″ – and that detailed level of exactness is just hard to find. And dialing this in to where you need it with a new coffee bean is no longer a chore, but something you can look forward to: the positive tactile response, the worm gear mechanics, the visual needle moving – it is true euphoria for the next level barista.
