Ceado E5P Electronic Espresso Grinder
Ceado E5P Overview
The Ceado E5P is a commercial quality, 64mm burr grinder that’s all business, no frills. Now updated for 2020, the E5P includes a new pulse button for easier on-demand grinding and an alloy housing for a refreshed look. The E5P’s powerful 300 watt motor keeps it cranking out shot after shot from the coffee chute, which features an internal flap specifically designed to break up any clumps before the grounds deposit evenly into your portafilter.
Features and Performance
We’re honestly impressed by how effective a tiny flap like that could be, but the E5P has near militaristic precision; it barely needs the included excess grounds tray. Operating the grinder couldn’t be more intuitive. Turning the collar adjusts the grind, and, since the E5P is a stepless grinder, you can make essentially infinite adjustments in search of the ever elusive perfect shot. Then simply press the pulse button on the side of the grinder, and let off once you’ve reached the amount you need. For those of us that like simple operation, this is one of our favorite grinders at a great value.
We’re floored by Ceado’s innovative attention to detail when it comes to the design of their grinders. The E5P is safeguarded against accidental blocks with a high capacity overload switch, which cuts the grinder’s power so as to avoid any damage. Grind with peace of mind, knowing that the E5P can take care of itself. Our favorite feature, though, has to be Ceado’s Steady Lock Burr technology. This design keeps the burrs at a constant distance apart from one another, whether they’re grinding for one shot or one hundred. In short, this means that grinding with the Ceado E5P is seriously consistent.
Why You Should Get It
Ceado has a little something for everyone, and, if you like the design of the E5P, but prefer automatic timed grinding, the E6P has all the same great design elements with the added benefit of single and double shot programmability; or, if you prefer a doser grinder, the E6X may be the one for you.

I use it to grind 4,19 grams expressos everyday and works great.
The quality of the grinds are perfect. I saw a review and he suggested not loading up the grinder but fill it with the beans and then cover the opening with the tamper which fits perfectly.

Bought this grinder to pair with my Gaggia Classic Pro. The grinder is bare bones, but very powerful and reliable, which is fantastic for espresso
Alejandra Manzanares –
Heavy duty, commercial quality unit that produces perfectly uniform grounds for espresso. The initial factory setting was ‘Talcum Powder’ and was too fine for my new Gaggia but it only took a couple easy adjustments to get it set just right. Now I get consistently perfect shots with rich crema. It’s actually quieter than my regular coffee grinder.Read more about review stating Precision Grinding The ground coffee goes directly into the porta filter with no spraying all over the kitchen counter. May have to grow my hair out so I can flip it and serve guests some barista attitude along with a perfect cappuccino…..

This is an excellent machine especially as compared to my previous grinder a Rancilio. So why 4 stars? Retains a fair amount of grounds at least 4 or 5 grams and it will not “auto grind” with a bottomless porto filter. But, if you don’t mind pushing the button with your finger then it is a marvelous machine.

Great value and step less adjustment huge improvement over my last grinder
