Great experience with HFC. Very responsive team with answering my questions and prompt with product delivery.

We also own the Gaggia Anima so this is a comparison. Feels like a higher end machine for only slightly more money. Espresso is richer and noticeably stronger with even more crema. Uses a full 11g of beans per shot while Gaggia never went above 9.5g even on max dosage (measured with digital scale). Grinder knob has a wider range, you can make the Read more about review stating Makes hot chocolate tooflow a trickle even before the finest setting; Gaggia prevents this (in part via a self-learning feature) hence its espresso is weaker.

Milk is little too frothy vs. Gaggia, and while you can customise the amount of milk delivered for each drink type it’s fiddly. The settings menu is also more tricky than Gaggia. Beverages are slightly hotter than Gaggia, at 155-160F for milk and coffee.

To make steamed milk for a hot chocolate, simply select pre-ground coffee: it first dispenses milk into your cup (where you’ve already added the choc), then notices you didn’t add coffee and ends the cycle. Clever!

Was worried about cleaning the milk system but there’s a button to flush out milk from wand before popping container back in fridge. Disassembles easily and is dishwasher safe. Easy to rinse infuser weekly which is a single sealed component vs. the Gaggia brew group that gets gunky.

Consumes water quickly but this keeps the system clean (the tray only contains clean-ish water so there’s no residual coffee stuck to sides); topping up water is easy with a clever lid design.

Two year warranty! Have to say this exceeded our expectations for a sub-$1k super-automatic.

I have owned this machine for 3 months now. Ive had a slew of inexpensive delonghi manual and nespresso pod machines in the past . Ive seen this model in action at a family members house for past 8 years and I finally got on for myself . Overall great espresso and drink options. The only complaint I have is the froth/steamer. I tried to use it a fRead more about review stating Worth the Priceew times and was a little disappointed with the power, however there might not have been enough water in reservoir at the time. Luckly for me I have the nespresso milk frother which is quicker and easier .
