Owning the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima Pro EN750MB

The DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima Pro EN750MB Espresso Machine being DeLonghi’s technology and expertise to the realm of single-serve brewing. Made from brushed aluminum and zamak elements and sporting an intuitive touch screen display for easy operation, you’ll have no trouble integrating the machine into your life and your home. Far more than just a capsule system, you can use the Lattissima Pro to make any one of 6 pre-programmed drink options selected via the touch screen display. You can also dispense hot water for tea and cocoa and Americanos. Each one-touch drink can also be customized to suit your tastes with the ability to program your desired coffee and milk quantity for a truly unique and satisfying beverage at the touch of a button. The machine has a rapid heat-up time of only 25 seconds and can accommodate cups up to 5.9\” in height. Ideal extraction conditions are achieved with the high performance 19-bar pump and the thermoblock boiler.

For milk drinks, the machine uses DeLonghi’s patented “Rapid Cappuccino System” to dispense high quality milk foam directly into your cup. The system has a rapid heat-up time of only 40 seconds and uses a detachable carafe that can be stored in your refrigerator when not in use. To preserve the hygiene and longevity of the milk system, the carafe features an automatic cleaning option to rinse the spout after each use. Something worth noting is that hot water has its own dedicated spout that attaches to the machine in place of the milk carafe. The spout is telescoping and can be adjusted to suit the height of your cup. When not in use it can be stored in a dedicated drawer located on the side of the machine. More unique among single-serve espresso machines, the Lattissima Pro boasts a high capacity 43 oz reservoir and can hold up to 15 spent Nespresso capsules in the internal dreg drawer before being emptied. The machine will also alert you when the reservoir is empty or the dreg drawer is full so you can attend to either as needed. Should you forget to turn the machine off when you’re done brewing, it will power down after nine minutes to conserve energy. The auto shut-off time can be further adjusted in the menu settings based on your preferences.

This is the 6th espresso machine I have bought from HARFAN COFFEE, and the first which uses capsules. I currently own two Gaggia Academia machines, one for home and one for office. I originally purchased this as a backup to one of the Academias when I was having some brew group problems, which I have since fixed. Now I use this Delonghi NespresRead more about review stating Excellent machine at affordable priceso machine when I entertain visitors in my office. The comments on the quality of the coffee are all very positive. I use Peet’s capsules (as well as Peet’s whole bean through my Academia), and the quality of that coffee never disappoints. The great thing about this machine is the ability to create excellent, cafe-quality milk-based coffee drinks with the press of a button. I will even go so far to opine that this approx. $500 machine beats the $1500 Academia in making milk-based coffee drinks since the attached carafe is much easier to clean than the one which comes with the Academia. The other advantages of this machine, besides the price tag, is it is compact, easy to care for, and with the right capsules (Peet’s) makes coffee which stands up to the most critical judgement. If you are on the fence on this one, get off. You will in no way be disappointed.

Lots to like about this machine. Compact size, quick startup, automated frothing and cleaning of the milk dispenser, a small but very usable variety of drinks in the menu all making this the go to for a fast cup and at an affordable price vs other semiautomatic machines. The provisos–capsules (there only option) are relatively expensive, the frotRead more about review stating Lots to like about thish while fairly good is not the micro-froth one can achieve with manual machines, although the frother can go back in the fridge it should be cleaned every three days or less and mine gradually wore-out after seven years (replacement was pricey at almost $60 on Amazon) and finally a intermittent leaking of water under the drip tray lead to us replacing the entire machine. Still hoping for at least another seven years of a go-to machine for quick drinks.

Simple to use. Coffee is very good.
    I would buy it again.
    Thank you DeLonghi!
