Eureka Mignon Magnifico Coffee Grinder in Grey
Eureka Mignon Magnifico Overview
The Eureka Mignon Magnifico is an all purpose grinder with 55 mm flat hardened steel burrs that give it the highest output in Eureka’s Mignon range. Not only that, the Magnifico features specially designed “diamond inside” burrs which keep their edge for longer compared to stock burrs. The touch screen display is a stand out feature for a grinder so small, making adjustment as easy as it should be. With its larger burrs, the Mignon Magnifico can produce up to 1.8g of coffee per second for espresso, meaning it can produce a barista quality 18g double shot in as little as 10 seconds.
Features and Performance
First of all—the touch screen. It’s vibrant, with a large font size and clean controls. Grind time is adjustable in tenths of a second using the “+” and “-” buttons, and you can freely switch between single and double shots. Also, you can switch to a manual mode for continuous grinding, or lock in your timed settings to keep other people from fiddling.
For performance, it’s equipped with 55 mm flat hardened steel burrs and a strong 1350 RPM motor with an output of 1.4 – 1.8g/s for espresso and 1.9 – 2.5g/s for brew. Eureka’s ACE system helps prevent clumping by eliminating static in ground coffee, which in turn ensures dose consistency.
It’s quiet, measuring in at about 73 dBA, so you won’t ever need to stop a conversation to make your drinks. It brings Eureka’s patented micrometric adjustment, so you expect smooth, stepless adjustments when dialing in the grind. Plus, the portafilter holder fork is adjustable to work with any portafilter on the market.
Why You Should Get It
The Mignon Magnifico is a superb espresso grinder, with it’s quiet grinding and touchscreen controls. The micrometric grind adjustment knob is one of the easiest ways to make very fine changes to grind size that we’ve experienced, as well. With the special “diamond inside” burrs, the burrs will keep their edge for longer and you’ll save money on maintenance down the line. Plus, with a height of under 14 inches, this coffee and espresso grinder will fit just about anywhere. If you’re looking for a compact, espresso-focused grinder, this is the one for you.

Grind was great, clean up, not so much. During fill of portafilter, grinder will spray grounds all over my countertop, ugh!

Very fast, very quiet, beautiful intuitive display, consistent grind, and gorgeous. I recommend and would buy again. I was also interested in the XL but was turned off by the mat which I only assume was integrated to squeeze out a little more quietness. A buyer would not be disappointed in either I feel.

Overall, I think I like this grinder – it manages grinds for pour over coffee to the medium roast espressos that I like. It seems to be a little a little challenged at the espresso end – I seem to have to be almost at a calibrated zero to get a 30 S/15 gm in 30 out/ about 30 ml liquid (below the crema). The liquid seems a little short but it tasteRead more about review stating Well Rounded Grinders pretty good – so not sure about that at this point in time. For some reason, I had to disassemble the unit and do a major clean of retained coffee after about 3 weeks of use which is surprising since my beans are not oily. At some point, I’ll add a single dose grinder (probably a P64 when they start shipping) and reserve this for pour over and espresso for guests.
