Eureka Mignon Silenzio Espresso Grinder in Amaranth
Eureka Mignon Silenzio Overview
The Eureka Mignon Silenzio is an all purpose grinder with simple manual controls a series of subtle features under the hood.
Features and Performance
For those controls, the Mignon Silenzio uses a push-button to switch between timed and manual modes, and a dial for adjusting grind time. It’s a quiet grinder, measuring in at about 73 dBA, so you won’t ever need to stop a conversation to make your drinks. It brings Eureka’s patented micrometric adjustment, so you expect smooth, stepless adjustments when dialing in the grind.
For performance, it’s equipped with 50 mm flat hardened steel burrs and a strong 1350 RPM motor. Eureka’s ACE system helps prevent clumping by eliminating static in ground coffee, which in turn ensures dose consistency.
Why You Should Get It
The Mignon Silenzio does exactly what it’s name suggests; it grinds very quietly, and it does so efficiently. The micrometric grind adjustment knob is one of the easiest ways to make very fine changes to grind size that we’ve experienced, as well. Plus, with a height of under 14 inches, this coffee and espresso grinder will fit just about anywhere.

Silent, consistent, and well built! Splurging on a good grinder was a wise decision.

Overall I’m pleased with this grinder. Some observations having used it daily for a few weeks as a single dose grinder for espresso:
* The grinder is impressively quiet while running. You can carry a conversation while it is running without having to raise your voice, and it won’t wake up others in the house when used for an early morning coffRead more about review stating A pretty good grinderee routine.
* Grind consistency is good once dialed in.
* No drift in the stepless grind setting in two weeks and counting.
* Pretty good dispensing of ground coffee into the portafilter without making a mess of the counter.

Very heavy and feels well built. The hopper and port handle are cheaper plastic. The grinder is rather quiet and does a good job of grinding. The timer switch and button again feel rather cheap. Dosing with the timer is not consistent. With a small adjustment to increase the time of dosing may or may not do anything at all. I’m trying to set the tRead more about review stating Quality but not allimer to dose 18 grams but can’t dial it in because the timer will not allow fine tuning. I was in hopes for a better machine. The grinding function and chrome case seem to be superior quality “mixed” with rather cheap accessories. The knob that adjust the grind feels great with a heavy resistance giving the impression that stepless grinding is indeed happening but when you turn the knob for the timer you immediately feel as though you are adjusting a kids toy. It is a weird combination like you are buying a Cadillac Escalade the has roll up windows and vinyl seats

Easy to use. Quiet. Once adjustments made coffee was grounded perfectly

Excellent grinder for someone new to making espresso. It is paired with my new GCP. Good combo for a beginner that enjoys the process of trying to make a good coffee. Easily adjusts between shots. Seems very sturdy and well built and of course it is so quiet!

I wanted a quiet espresso grinder and I definitely got one! The Silenzio lives up to its name, can barely hear it upstairs and definitely doesn’t wake up the family.
The grind adjustment is easy to use and has a large adjustment range. I just use it for espresso, but wonder what else it can do.
Finally, size and color; doesn’t taRead more about review stating successo silenziosoke up too much room in the counter, it is compact which is great! Ferrari red is a standout color as well, nice smooth paint with the stainless steel makes a unit you’ll be happy to have on display no matter what color you get!
