Eureka Mignon Silenzio Espresso Grinder in Chrome
Eureka Mignon Silenzio Overview
The Eureka Mignon Silenzio is an all purpose grinder with simple manual controls a series of subtle features under the hood.
Features and Performance
For those controls, the Mignon Silenzio uses a push-button to switch between timed and manual modes, and a dial for adjusting grind time. It’s a quiet grinder, measuring in at about 73 dBA, so you won’t ever need to stop a conversation to make your drinks. It brings Eureka’s patented micrometric adjustment, so you expect smooth, stepless adjustments when dialing in the grind.
For performance, it’s equipped with 50 mm flat hardened steel burrs and a strong 1350 RPM motor. Eureka’s ACE system helps prevent clumping by eliminating static in ground coffee, which in turn ensures dose consistency.
Why You Should Get It
The Mignon Silenzio does exactly what it’s name suggests; it grinds very quietly, and it does so efficiently. The micrometric grind adjustment knob is one of the easiest ways to make very fine changes to grind size that we’ve experienced, as well. Plus, with a height of under 14 inches, this coffee and espresso grinder will fit just about anywhere.

Machine is great. I have finally dialed in the correct grind for my ROCKET cappuccino machine. What a difference !!!
Only complaint I have was the Eureka grinder was already on the truck at the store and I wanted to upgrade my grinder and couldn’t. I was going to but the next level up Eureka grinder. If there was only a way?

Overall I’m pleased with this grinder. Some observations having used it daily for a few weeks as a single dose grinder for espresso:
* The grinder is impressively quiet while running. You can carry a conversation while it is running without having to raise your voice, and it won’t wake up others in the house when used for an early morning coffRead more about review stating A pretty good grinderee routine.
* Grind consistency is good once dialed in.
* No drift in the stepless grind setting in two weeks and counting.
* Pretty good dispensing of ground coffee into the portafilter without making a mess of the counter.
The only complaint I have is that I can’t grind enough beans for my typical espresso shot (15g worth) into a 58mm basket without taking two or three breaks in between grinding to gently tap the portafilter to flatten the ground coffee. Otherwise as the little mountain of ground coffee builds up in the portafilter basket it will start to spill out of the basket onto the counter towards the end of the batch. Not really worth knocking a star off of the review, but something to be aware of.

Highly recommended. The machine is very well built. It is heavy and built like a tank, and you can instantly tell this is a high quality product. It is made in Italy and is like the Ferrari of grinders. It is very quiet, produces a perfect grind and is beautifully designed.

Dialing in the right grind size is a pain, but I’m sure this is the case with EVERY grinder. Once that’s done, then you have arguably the quietest and most consistent grinder in the entire consumer market. Would I recommend this to family and friends? Even better….would I buy it again? Damn straight I would. Absolutely fantastic piece of equipmeRead more about review stating Dialing in the right grindnt that looks great on my kitchen counter beside my beautiful new Gaggia machine.

It is an excellent coffee grinder. I’ve had several burr grinders over the last 30 years. Particularly good are the micro adjustments and grind control. The Knob on the top right allows you to dial-in exactly what your preferences are. It’s quiet Enough, Pleasingly contemporary at least from my taste, easy to use and relatively quiet.
