The Eureka Mignon Silenzio is an all purpose grinder with simple manual controls a series of subtle features under the hood.
Features and Performance
For those controls, the Mignon Silenzio uses a push-button to switch between timed and manual modes, and a dial for adjusting grind time. It’s a quiet grinder, measuring in at about 73 dBA, so you won’t ever need to stop a conversation to make your drinks. It brings Eureka’s patented micrometric adjustment, so you expect smooth, stepless adjustments when dialing in the grind.
For performance, it’s equipped with 50 mm flat hardened steel burrs and a strong 1350 RPM motor. Eureka’s ACE system helps prevent clumping by eliminating static in ground coffee, which in turn ensures dose consistency.
Why You Should Get It
The Mignon Silenzio does exactly what it’s name suggests; it grinds very quietly, and it does so efficiently. The micrometric grind adjustment knob is one of the easiest ways to make very fine changes to grind size that we’ve experienced, as well. Plus, with a height of under 14 inches, this coffee and espresso grinder will fit just about anywhere.

No complaints whatsoever. This machine is full of quality all the ay through. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for our beach house. I know there are much more expensive grinders out there, but I don’t know what the extra cost would get you.

The Eureka Mignon Silenzio is definitely an upgrade from my previous entry-level burr grinder. It can grind finer than necessary to produce a great espresso shot, has “infinite” grind level settings, and is pretty quiet. I would recommend. I weigh my beans for one double espresso shot before putting them in the hopper and grinding so I’ve only used the manual button. The smallest adjustment affects grind size. I love the orange in my mid century kitchen. The lid is hard to get off.
