The Eureka Mignon XL, in white, is the coffee grinder for at-home and professional baristas who want grind efficiency and an extremely low coffee retention, without sacrificing quality.
As part of ORO line, which draws inspiration from machines throughout Eureka’s 100-year history, the Mignon XL features a plethora of industry leading features like “Diamond Inside” burrs and “Silent Technology” grinding that are sure to impress.
Features and Performance
The Mignon XL measures at a height of 15in, width of 4.7in, depth of 7.1in, and a weight of 15.9lb. Included are Eureka’s patented “Diamond Inside” 65mm flat burrs that remain at optimal sharpness longer to ensure a more steady granulometry over time, as well as the presence of the ever-popular “Silent Technology” that allows the Mignon XL to remain at a maximum noise level of about 60dB, the same as a set of electric hair clippers.
Also included is a 300g bean hopper, an upgraded 1.650 RPM motor, an all-purpose adjustable rubber coated fork for hands-free operation, Eureka’s ELR System, which ensures a very low retention in the grinding chamber and a consistent dose amount, and a Mignon Mat Kit for easy and efficient cleaning.

I have not ran the 5lbs of coffee recommended to fully season the burs yet so it’s a little to soon to tell just how good the grinder is.

This is a great grinder. I was upgrading from a Baratza Sette 270. The Oro Mignon XL is night and day difference on noise compared to the Sette. Over all, it’s easy to use, looks even better in person, is super quiet, very consistent, easy to adjust the grind, and produces great espresso.
