JURA WE8 Overview
The JURA WE8 is an upgrade to the E8 in terms of capacity and performance. The smallest offering in their Professional line, the JURA WE8 is a super-automatic espresso machine capable of brewing espresso, ristretto and long coffee, and steaming for a cappuccino, latte macchiato or flat white. We really enjoy flat whites here at the office, so we were pleasantly surprised to find them as a pre-programmed option. Plus, stand alone milk foam and hot water options can be programmed to produce a desired amount of water or frothed milk for making cocoas or tea lattes.
Features and Performance
Out of the box, the WE8 impresses with its mirror-finish accents and considerable capacities. JURA’s Aroma G3 grinder is a nice addition in this case, making for quiet, consistent grinding with higher efficiency. For a more full-bodied espresso and decidedly thicker crema, the WE8 uses the JURA’s Pulse Extraction Process, to fire pulses of water through your grounds to get the most out of extraction.
JURA’s Fine Foam Frother allows you to adjust milk density with a quick twist of a dial before, or during, brewing. For us at the office, this is critical and makes the difference between a latte macchiato and a cappuccino incredibly clear.

This is our 4th super auto (3 Jura’s) but our first “office” level machine. While we have had mixed results with reliability with the others requiring us to send them in for servicing every 12-16 months not so with the WE8. We have been using our WE8 for a couple years now and have had zero problems that weren’t cleaning related. We like the one touch selections and the ability to make a lot of drinks in a hurry when we have guests. This machine is a daily driver but we are only making 10-12 drinks a day so are hopeful that the reliability continues.
