La Marzocco Linea Mini Connected Stainless Steel

Overview

The La Marzocco Linea Mini is one of the most capable and prestigious home machines available on the market today.

Based on the full-sized, commercially available Linea Classic, this compact version of a cafe machine sets a new standard for the home barista.

Commercial power meets Florentine beauty in this incredible piece of espresso history.

La Marzocco was founded in 1927 by brothers Bruno and Giuseppe Bambi in Florence, Italy. Innovation and originality set La Marzocco apart from the competition, and their past contributions to the manufacturing of espresso machines have helped to shape today’s industry standards. Set up your favourite cafe in your own kitchen with the Linea Mini, one of the most powerful home espresso machines on the market.

Combining a saturated brew group with a powerful 3.5L steam boiler, saturated coffee boiler, PID for temperature control, and smartphone compatibility, this fully equipped commercial quality machine provides the best experience in terms of quality and convenience.

A programmable start time, remote on and off, temperature control, and pre-infusion setting are just a few of the many features available through the Linea’s smartphone app, making it one of the more advanced machines we carry while still preserving the analog beauty of a traditional commercial espresso machine.

An extremely large 3.5L service boiler means cafe quality steam power every time, providing you with the best possible tool to make lattes, cappuccinos, and more. A small, saturated coffee boiler means there is no travel time between the boiler and the group, preserving perfect temperature consistency throughout the entire extraction process.

Key Features

The Linea Mini combines the features below in order to provide you with cafe-quality milk drinks and espresso shots and even plumb your machine directly into a water line for more convenient use.

  • 3.5L steam boiler
  • Saturated grouphead
  • Commercial grade rotary pump.
  • PID (or digital thermostat) controls for temperature
  • La Marzocco’s ‘connected machine’ smartphone connectivity

Maybe it’s just the fact that my previous grinder wailed like a banshee, but the La Marzocco is dead silent and delivers fine, fluffy grounds. The only minor downside is that the spout tends to dump the coffee too close to the handle, which leads to some spillage.

  2. Gabriel Pietrzak

Met the espresso needs of our resident coffee expert. Cuts a a fine level with some extra options if trying to cut even more thin. Design does not take too much space as well. Only gripe i can make up is that if you are making alot of coffee will need to refilll at least once. Otherwise very strong cost effective option for coffeee espresso grindeRead more about review stating Met the espresso needs ofr

it works great. it is quiet. we must wait now, and see; shall it be great for many years to come? Maybe. The Dubai Gold is also swanky.

This is the best home espresso grinder I’ve owned so for. I have been able to dial my grind size with ease to produce the desired espresso shots. I ditched the stock bean hopper and installed a 3rd party single dose hopper/bellows combination to minimize retention and keep my beans fresh – works perfectly. I recommend purchasing from HarfanCoffe LRead more about review

Wonderfully solid and QUIET grinder. Easy to single dose or time grind. Several Single Doser kits available.

Finally have a grinder that will choke an espresso machine! Will grind way finer than needed. Easy to set. Dialed shots in to 28-30 seconds and enjoying

  8. Krzysztof Duda

My first grinder was basic and it finally gave up the ghost. I was shopping for: solid build and more convenience, without a host of electronic parts to fail prematurely. Very pleased with the Silencio so far. The quietness is a welcome break from the typical morning blast of a standard grinder. The touchless timer lets me drop the group head in tRead more about review stating silence and timer are big pluseshe holder, and do other things while the grind is measured out perfectly. It makes my shots more even, because I’m not guessing at the fill level each time. Also, built-in is the “fluffer” that breaks up clumps, and provides some anti-static voodoo, according to the feature list. Overall, once dialed in, very pleased with the result.
