Profitec GO Espresso Machine Blue
Profitec GO Overview
The Profitec GO espresso machine is a single boiler machine with high-quality features that set this machine apart as the best-in-class for its price. This compact machine has PID temperature control, a visible brew pressure gauge, and an eco brass boiler. The controls are also very easy to navigate, making this a great machine if you’re just starting your journey into the world of specialty coffee and at-home espresso brewing.
Features and Performance
You can keep your morning going with the .4-liter eco brass boiler on the Profitec Go. It’s ready to brew just 5-7 minutes after being switched on, so it’s ready to go when you are. The 1,200 watt heating element will also let you switch from brew to steam in one minute, and with PID temperature control, you can make sure that you’re brewing at the exact temperature you want. This allows for easy repeatability once you find your perfect brew settings so you can get the best espresso possible every day.
The thoughtful design of the GO allows it to fit into most any kitchen and add a sleek, stylish touch to your coffee setup. At just 14.9 inches tall, 8.25 inches wide, and 14.5 inches deep, you’ll be able to fit this machine easily under most upper cabinets. For an elevated look, we also offer wood accents for the portafilter handle and steam knob that you can match to your cabinetry or use to add another layer of texture and warmth to your kitchen or coffee nook.
The easy to navigate buttons on the face of the machine make it simple to brew or switch to steam power for milk drinks. You can also easily change the brewing temperature with the PID controller located above the drip tray. You can also use the PID controls to toggle the ECO mode, which will automatically turn off the machine after a certain amount of time that it’s not in use, as well as the Cln mode, which will automatically remind you when it’s time to clean your machine’s grouphead. The PID display also doubles as a shot timer during brewing.
You can also easily view what pressure you’re brewing with using the pressure gauge above the drip tray. Profitec has made it easy to manually adjust the brew pressure if you prefer a different setting – just locate the OPV under the cup tray and adjust it to your preferred brew pressure.
With the commercial style steam wand on the Profitec GO, steaming milk for your favorite milk drinks is a breeze. The no-burn rubber grip makes it easy to reposition the wand to make steaming easier and more comfortable no matter where your GO is placed. After steaming, you can easily switch back to brewing temperature, and you can even speed up the process with a cooling flush through your portafilter.

After having put this machine through its paces for a while now, I am confident in recommending this machine to anyone looking for a premium single boiler machine. This machine like all others has things that aren’t perfect, but the positives by far outweigh the negatives. I would not hesitate to recommend this machine to anyone looking for a premRead more about review stating New Standard for Single Boilersium single boiler.
Pros:
– Incredibly consistent results with each brew.
– Adjustable OPV is the easiest to access of any machine I’ve owned, very easy to set using the pressure gauge.
-Quick start-up, rebound, and steam changeover time. The claims of 5 min for brew temp and 10 for the group are spot on.
– Steaming performance and workflow are both great for a SBDU machine, will exceed expectations for someone that steams 1-2 drinks frequently.
– No temp surfing, no massive HX style cooling flushes, no thermoblock temperature guess work. The PID is super easy to use and makes brew temps a breeze.
-Generous and easy to clean tank, no poly tubing to deal with.
-Build quality is impressive for the price.
Cons:
– No boiler autofill.
– No low water shutoff or easy water level indicator. You have to remove the lid to the tank.
– Bottomless PF will be necessary if you plan on using a scale or cups taller than traditional shot glasses. Cup clearance is roughly 3 1/8th inches to spouts on included PF, roughly 4 1/2 inches to a bottomless.
-Steam wand is not no-burn.

Love the Profitec Go, it gets 5 stars. The Blue is beautiful, and the quality is amazing, truly. I’m still dialing in my shots with this machine, but it heats up quickly from a cold start and gets to steam temp quickly after pulling a shot, and so far I have been able to get amazing texture with my milk and non-milk products. Having no pre-infusioRead more about review stating Great Machine, Terrible servicen is kind of a pain but not all that big of a deal as you can press the brew button part way down to engage the pump and get water to the grouphead without activating the timer on the PID and even if you do activate the timer, it resets when the brew button is released. The machine arrived carefully packed in a large box with expanding foam pads around the manufacturers box to ensure safe travels. The only thing I would recommend is to get a naked portafilter, and go with any E61 compatible one, or to save yourself a few bucks ordering from here, just get the ECM one. ECM and Profitec are essentially the same company, I recommend this because with the included portafilter you will have no space for a scale under your espresso shot glass, even using the smallest of glasses, unless you remove the drip tray all-together which I do not recommend as the machine purges excess pressure into the drip tray.
On-to the TERRIBLE service. 1st HARFAN COFFEE had the product listed in this color way as in-stock all through Dec. of 2022. Placed an order in mid Dec., and heard nothing about it shipping at all until I reached out to their service dept a week and a half after placing the order. Turns out it was a pre-order, only problem was the only product page that had any mention of this machine being pre-order only was the black color way, which is a separate product…. They gave me a $100 dollar refund because its their problem that they lied to customers by not managing their online inventory listings properly. I finally get the machine mid January 2023 and immediately the machine had an issue…oh well this stuff happens. It was not Whole Latte Loves fault, and its the way things are, electronic components break by no fault of the seller or manufacturer. I start a support case for my non-working boiler temp sensor and after verifying the issue, I was told the new temp sensor would be sent my way. This I thought was strange with since this product “Includes a 3-Year Parts and Labor.” Yeah, sure they will send you the part, and YOU will do the labor…..During this warranty/support process I asked very specific questions regarding the parts I would receive, and asked if the new temp sensor would include a new crush washer and I asked for thread sealant, since it had sealant on the oem installed part. I was assured it would include a crush washer and they could send me a packet of thread sealant. When I finally received the part a full week after HARFAN COFFEE created the order to ship(almost 3 full days in their warehouse/processing) and snail mail shipping(really?). I was shocked to find no crush washer, and an unmarked ziploc baggie with an mostly clear goo in it for the thread sealant(as in they just squirted some unknown product into a bag and expected me to trust it)….This is going into a pressure vessel that deals with steam, re-using a crush washer is a terrible idea, asking an untrained person to replace the part themselves is a terrible idea(though I will admit I am more than capable of doing this work), and the fact that they couldn’t eat 6 dollars for a marked tube of thermal rated – food safe thread sealant is a problem, not to mention that the support agent lied to me about the crush washer. Upon receiving the part I had to go out of my own way to find a compatible crush washer and get proper thread sealant to fix something that should have been taken care by them(luckily I could get both things at a local hardware store). Straight up I will never order from HARFAN COFFEE again, the whole customer experience has been terrible. The support reps were nice and professional both times I had to reach out, but this is not about the individuals I dealt with quality of service, its about the company lying, not being able to provide their service reps with good and proper information and not fixing things properly to ensure their customers are getting what their hard earned money is going towards. There are other reputable sellers of this product and I would recommend you seek them out since HARFAN COFFEE has no issues lying, taking your money, and then lying some more.

I had a gaggia classic pro prior to this one. I am very happy with my purchase, the machine so far has been a pleasure to use.
Easy to dial in, soild quality (material & construction), warm up time about 5min, the espresso taste is night and day vs old machine, good size and weight.
It is a single boiler, so making mile drinks is a chaRead more about review stating Awesome machinellenge (time wise), and I have not done any maintenance yet so i am not sure easy/difficult it’ll be.

It all started when Starbucks opened up next to my work a few months ago. I became somewhat addicted. It continued when I became frustrated at the lack of consistency with my Iced Shaken Espressos. Too much ice, too little, too much milk, not enough espresso. $4.56 each time, sometimes twice a day. But how can I be mad? These are teenage rookies, Read more about review stating My First Espresso Machine.. and a Fantastic one at that!who do not know what they are doing! I started to do research and learn a thing or two about espresso. Oops…
3 weeks and about 100 hours of learning and online research later, I finally decided on the Profitec GO to be my first machine. My logic was that it’s the same price or only SLIGHTLY more than a Gaggia Pro that’s modded out the way it should be. The PID, the shot timer, the pressure gauge which is also adjustable, and the 1200W energy usage really swayed me over. Also liked the black/chrome theme and the teal pressure dial. It’s a beautiful piece of a equipment and very high quality. I’ve never pulled espresso in my life, but after a day my shots are already pretty much perfect, and I think that is hugely due to the consistency of this fantastic machine. (And I suppose the 100+ hours of research/videos)
I will tell you what, if you get this machine and your shots are not good, then I can promise you it’s not the machine that’s the problem. It’s extremely consistent and it tells you everything you need to know. The PID is easy to control and set temps, the shot timer just the perfect tool for the beginner as well, and more convenient than using one on a scale. It heats up quickly, I can produce shots in 15 mins, or less if you preheat using the brewing feature for hot water on your portafilter.
The double portafilter works great, I chocked up another $80 to get the profitec bottomless portafilter and triple basket as well. The stock baskets are already fantastic, I see no need to get the VST one.
The machine is easy to clean. I do already have a few scuffs on the top for holding metal and glass cups on it. Also, if you have cups/glasses on top while its brewing, you will hear them vibrate. Solution is to either put nothing on top while brewing, or just keep an extra microfiber cloth resting on top.
All in all I am extremely happy with this machine and feel like I could not have done better in starting my espresso journey. I look forward to many tasty energetic mornings and saving $5+ a day at Starbucks and Dunkin espresso drinks. BUY THIS MACHINE!!
