Profitec Pro 600 with Flow Control Overview
The Profitec Pro 600 is a dual PID, dual stainless steel boiler espresso machine whose performance and looks stand out from the crowd. This version improves on the standard Pro 600, bringing a new, incredible upgrade that will change the way you make espresso: flow control.
With the flow control knob, you’ll be able to control the flow rate of water during extraction to get different flavors out of your coffee. By simply adjusting the knob, you have control over a longer or shorter pre-infusion and can modify the extraction parameters of your shot. Based on our testing, we’ve found that flow control really helps bring out the more subtle nuances of a coffee, bringing out unexpected, hidden flavors and elevating the experience overall.
Features and Performance
Incorporating feedback that we provided for the Pro 700 and ECM Synchronika, the Pro 600 has the same incredible steam pressure thanks to the updated PID and safety valve. Both boilers are independently controlled by the PID, insulated, and made from stainless steel. The brew boiler is the same 0.75-liter capacity as the Pro 700 while the steam boiler has a 1-liter capacity.
Just like the Profitec Pro 700 and ECM Synchronika, the Pro 600 is designed to make any kind of maintenance easy to do at home. Lastly, the Pro 600 has a vibration pump and uses a water reservoir only.

The profitec pro 600 is a tank. The coffee machine is as advertised. I am making great expresso. Heats up faster than I thought it would. Recovery is fast as well. Flow control it easy to get used to after watching YouTube videos. I steam 12oz of oat milk and it takes about 1 minute to steam to 180 degrees. Normal steeming for a regular milk drink is super fast especially at 140 degrees and around 6-8oz.

I totally love this dual boiler espresso machine. I’ve had several European machines for the last 40 years but this one is very easy to fine tune and dial in pressure preferences. It has a wonderful timer, it’s straight forward, and works like a champ, it actually warms to usable temperature in less than seven minutes.

Cant seem to get a great crema but otherwise its an excellent machine. Espresso tastes very good. I have experimented w flow control and grind size and tamp pressure and quantity and just cant get a thick crema. I will experiment w beans now.

Great machine so far. Chose it over other machines because I wanted stainless steel boilers.
Welds on warming tray are prone to breaking. Hoping the replacement is better. Customer support has been excellent.
