The Eureka Mignon XL, in grey, is the coffee grinder for at-home and professional baristas who want grind efficiency and an extremely low coffee retention, without sacrificing quality.
As part of ORO line, which draws inspiration from machines throughout Eureka’s 100-year history, the Mignon XL features a plethora of industry leading features like “Diamond Inside” burrs and “Silent Technology” grinding that are sure to impress.
Features and Performance
The Mignon XL measures at a height of 15in, width of 4.7in, depth of 7.1in, and a weight of 15.9lb. Included are Eureka’s patented “Diamond Inside” 65mm flat burrs that remain at optimal sharpness longer to ensure a more steady granulometry over time, as well as the presence of the ever-popular “Silent Technology” that allows the Mignon XL to remain at a maximum noise level of about 60dB, the same as a set of electric hair clippers.
Also included is a 300g bean hopper, an upgraded 1.650 RPM motor, an all-purpose adjustable rubber coated fork for hands-free operation, Eureka’s ELR System, which ensures a very low retention in the grinding chamber and a consistent dose amount, and a Mignon Mat Kit for easy and efficient cleaning.

I was right; the Eureka is a fantastic grinder! It looks like a serious piece of countertop hardware, and it is also beautiful. I am amazed at how quiet it is; Mark is right the tone it admits is charming low tone. The touch screen beautiful and sensitive to the touch. I glad to say, no mess! No issues with static, the coffee flows right into the portafilter.
I always heard about the taste would be different, and after getting it dialed in (about a pound later), the taste was terrific. If you can get this grinder, get it!

This is an espresso grinder, so the range is small, which makes possible the finest adjustments, to dial in the best grind. The adjustment handle is stiff though, so you may need help tapping it to the right spot. No waste. Smaller portafilters don’t fit the holder.
