Using the M80 Manual is simple. The hopper holds a whole pound of coffee, and an integrated hopper stopper allows you to easily remove the hopper for burr cleaning or to swap between beans. Turn the collar below the hopper to make adjustments to the grind, then simply turn it on to grind up to 9.88 oz into the doser, stopping whenever you prefer. Pull the sturdy stainless lever to dispense your dose, and easily tamp it using the integrated tamper. Internally, each of the M80’s feature 63mm burrs backed up by a powerful 460 watt motor for a high grinding speed of 1600 RPM. Grind was great, clean up, not so much. During fill of portafilter, grinder will spray grounds all over my countertop, ugh!

Okay, granted, my experience with grinders has not included Mazzer, Ceado, Baratza, etc., and as far as quality of grind, none of the grinders I’ve ever had have measured up to the level my Expobar Office Lever needed to enter espresso heaven. Well, this grinder has easily reached it. In fact, it has gone beyond any previous expectation on my part, and has given me a cup of bliss. There is so much range of adjustment on this grinder! Each adjusting notch makes such a fine adjustment, that I can dial in just the right amount of fineness to extract exceptional flavors that I’ve never tasted before! I had read that some folks found this grinder loud…it’s very quiet compared to every other grinder I’ve ever used. I love it!
And the thing is built like a tank! It was packed pretty well at the factory, then HarfanCoffee packed their box inside another well-packed box, so that it arrived in perfect shape. The way this thing is built, I’m sure it’ll be the last grinder I’ll need.

What’s best about this product? I would have to say the build quality. Again, this thing is built like a tank. Quality construction. Well-engineered. Elegant.
Do you have any helpful tips for using this product?
First tip is to make sure the burrs are not touching before you turn it on for the first time. With the grinder still empty and turned off, turn the adjustment towards the fine side, until the slightest resistance is felt. Then turn the adjustment 1/4 turn back towards the coarse setting. My final adjustment was about 4 or 5 clicks finer after this 1/4 turn. Very easy to dial in.
I will probably be getting an external timing circuit to operate the grinder with. Should be easy to set up.
