The PID controller moderates the boiler temperature for both steaming and brewing, giving the Unica Rosso great temperature stability and the ability to tinker for anyone who wants a more nuanced extraction from specialty coffee.
Features and Performance
Now, it’s important to keep in mind that this is a single boiler machine, which means the Unica Rosso uses a single boiler for brewing and steaming. A little extra patience is required when switching from brewing to steaming while the boiler heats up. With that said, the Unica Rosso is well-built with a 3-way solenoid valve, a vibration pump, and the iconic E61 group head made of chrome-plated brass. The machine comes with a multi-directional steam wand with a joystick control and a two-hole steam tip, as well.

I looked at machines at this price range. I was debating between this Machine and the ECM Classika. I sent a question to HarfanCoffee and they explained to me the pros and cons of each Machine. This machine is a really nice looking machine. I love the drip tray design . Maybe next time if I upgrade I might go with EMC, but I have no regrets

This thing is amazing. We have it on a timer and every morning it turns on at 6am, and turns off at 2pm. Its been great during COVID. Pulls perfect espresso shots every single time. I’ve had this semi automatic espresso machine for over a month now and I love it. Very simple to use, it makes excellent espresso. I noticed that the quality of the espresso depends on the coffee and how thin it is ground. Overall I’d give it a five stars. The price is also very attractive.
