Profitec Pro 600 Dual Boiler Espresso Machine with Flow Control Walnut Quarter Cut

Profitec Pro 600 with Flow Control Overview

The Profitec Pro 600 is a dual PID, dual stainless steel boiler espresso machine whose performance and looks stand out from the crowd. This version improves on the standard Pro 600, bringing a new, incredible upgrade that will change the way you make espresso: flow control.

With the flow control knob, you’ll be able to control the flow rate of water during extraction to get different flavors out of your coffee. By simply adjusting the knob, you have control over a longer or shorter pre-infusion and can modify the extraction parameters of your shot. Based on our testing, we’ve found that flow control really helps bring out the more subtle nuances of a coffee, bringing out unexpected, hidden flavors and elevating the experience overall.

Features and Performance

Incorporating feedback that we provided for the Pro 700 and ECM Synchronika, the Pro 600 has the same incredible steam pressure thanks to the updated PID and safety valve. Both boilers are independently controlled by the PID, insulated, and made from stainless steel. The brew boiler is the same 0.75-liter capacity as the Pro 700 while the steam boiler has a 1-liter capacity.

Just like the Profitec Pro 700 and ECM Synchronika, the Pro 600 is designed to make any kind of maintenance easy to do at home. Lastly, the Pro 600 has a vibration pump and uses a water reservoir only.

  1. Eva Schuster

My first espresso machine and it’s a winner, pulls shot after shot and the steam power is intense.

  2. Louis Lehner

Great investment I am happy I chose the pro 600 with flow control. This is an upgrade from my gaggia classic, super stoked every morning to brew some coffee!

  3. Elisabeth Bauer

Good size, some of the features in the videos are different than on the spec sheet (2-hole vs 4-hole tip), can’t find out how to make it 2 bars vs 1.5 bars of steam, I’m still trying to get a fine-enough grind to make it take longer to pull shots. Flavor is excellent. I never knew espresso could be sweet. Super awesome as far as construction.

  4. Paulina Wieser

great improvement over my profitec pro 300.makes much better coffee.

  5. Noah Gruber

The Pro 600 is a great upgrade. I have had a Livia 90 for the past 22 years. It was time for an upgrade even though the Livia was still working great. The Pro 600 was a great move. It heats up quick, the dual boilers mean no waiting between pulling a shot and steaming milk. I’m relearning how to steam milk for Latte Art as the 600 has much more stRead more about review stating A major upgradeeam “power” than the Livia did!

  6. Emma Haas

So lets start off with the fact it wasn’t a smooth startup. The machine would not power up out of the box. After talking with support I pulled the panels and found a disconnected wire to the power switch. This resolved the power issue. As it started to heat up it started to leak profusely from the Flow Control mushroom valve nut. I had to tighten Read more about review stating Wow! surprising upgrade from my Expobar Brewtus IIthis pretty significantly to stop the leak. Not sure if all of this is a result of shipping or something else.
